The Rob Pratte Photo album Part II...

It just gets better all the time!  I used the Lionel K-4 to get some steam shots of a layout that is quickly becoming a thing of beauty.  I snapped these while I was helping out with the MTH AIU hookup.  As you can see the scenery is taking shape. These were taken November 12th.

The trestle area is really starting to come alive!  The ground scenery is being added brining out the mountain contours.

The K4 continues its way down passing an operating Lionel switch tower.  Although the majority of Rob's layout is MTH, Lionel, K-Line and Atlas also do some contracting.

Here is an overall shot of the mountain and tunnel area.  The work is almost completed here with some detailing such as MTH's Iron City billboard.  A string of MTH cars transverse the upper level of the layout.

Another shot of the K4 with the Iron City billboard.  The K4 is on the next level of the helix and almost to the yard level.

This is one of my favorite areas of the layout and a very unique view from inside the trestle area.  The shot is classic steam as the K4 winds its way down the mountains.

3 layers of track are visible in this photo as the K4 makes its way down to the yard area from the over head system.  The small shed above was made from scratch.  You get a feel for just how big the layout is.

A MTH CP works its way up the layout ready to hit the main line.  With a few more levels to go this engines has its work cut out for it before it gets the highball signal.

One last shot.  The flash didn't go off and I came out with beautiful mistake!  It keeps you coming back for more.
