The
Texas Special rounding the bend. Another trolley sitting beside the
track. It takes Paul from the end of November to just before or
after Christmas to finish.
More
Texas Special action. This year the trains have some real estate to
move out on. The loops were expanded across the whole layout.
A
journey back to yesteryear! This could have come from any
family album in the 50s. The NYC F3 along side the Southern and the
726 Berk.
A
glow from the city keeps the layout in that Postwar feel. All
seen in this picture is the from left to right... The NYC 2344 F3s, the
726 Berk, the Southern 2356 F3s and a 681 Turbine.
A
Lionel 675 waits with it's tinplate passenger consist. It's funny
but at York I actually look forward to see what he comes up with next
because it usually leads to another complete set.
Nothing
was more fun to us kids than the Lionel giraffe car. It has always
been one of my favorites. While Paul has amassed a large Postwar
collection with an emphasis on sets he always seems to have my dad's
layout and trains in mind. |
