One
of Kodiak Junction's most famous citizens sits high atop Kodiak Mountain
playing his harmonica in harmony with the N&W J's soulful whistle.

Later
the T-1 joins in the melody. The soulful sounds can be heard far
across the valley putting the residents of Kodiak Junction to bed.

Hot
slag is being deposed of into the gorge that used to make up Eastwood
Ravine. The rail line that wound it's way through has long ago been
abandoned.

A
hot metal car passes by as well with it's hot load glowing in the dusk
light. Steel has been making a comeback here in the valley.

As
the caboose departs Kodiak Junction, the husky mingles with the towns folk
hoping for a snack. Kodi has been known to jump a freight train in
his time to make his way across the valley. This is the towns main
depot just outside of the city limits.
