The 2002-2003 Photo album...

I'm doing it a bit different this year.  No thumbnails, and some added captions to help bring the pictures to life!

The newly built McDonald's is starting to attract some customers.  It seems especially popular with the younger crowd!

KDKA Radio's Goodwill Tour Boxcar has visited Kodiak Junction.  Visitors can get a look at KDKA's rich history.

Bill seems to be having trouble with the oil drums.  Perhaps Jack can give him a hand when he's finished.

Kodi the Husky wanders into Old Valley Station, now the home to a group of friendly hobos. The warmth of the stove and the promise of some leftovers draws his attention.   The hobos are eating out tonight though as the sun starts to set in the valley.

The Hobos don't seem to notice Kodiak Junction's most famous resident emerge from the cave.  The Dark Knight's friends keep his secret safe.  Besides this is Michael Keaton as Batman...and they think he was the best one.

Lionel's Centennial 2000 SD90 rumbles past the old coaling station.  Years bygone it served the valley well when steam was king.

We're in luck!  Josh found a picture on Pap's camera that shows the coaling station in it's heyday!  That Pap was quiet the photographer.

The Pennsylvania RR T-1 5514 is passing Middletown Station on the North side of Kodiak Junction.  The T-1 was being serviced at The Iron Horse Shops down the line at Painter's Run and is now ready for active duty!  Good thing Josh's pap kept a journal of these old photos or we wouldn't know the rich history behind them!

Wow!  A rare shot of the Pennsy T-1 and N&W J passing.  A rich history in an old camera is quite a find.  You can almost hear the whistles as these two giants acknowledge each other.  The T-1 is fresh out of the shops and ready to hit the rails.
