Late night in the heart of the business district. Most of the buildings are still here in Kodiak Junction. Come to think of it so are the cars. They sure are behind the times. And we wouldn't want it any other way.
In this photo circa 1950 a helicopter bound for the Korean Conflict will help a M*A*S*H units save lives.
Pap had an Army buddy send him this photo of the copter once it reached the California coast. Next stop the Korean Peninsula.
After the war, Pap did some aerial photography for the Navy. Here, in the only surviving picture from these days is a picture over the Southside of Kodiak Junction. We dated this picture from the early 60s'. The film shows it's age.
